Hi, I'm Jenny.

I’m a Senior Product Designer @ Meta, leading design for high-risk verification systems like gambling and prescription drugs.

Previously, I've spent time @ Meta shaping business design systems, augmented reality components, and global reporting tools. Ultimately, I like making complex systems feel intuitive and human.

Building Meta's high-risk verification experience

2024 - 2026

My work at Meta focused on the spaces where digital platforms intersect with real-world harm. I led the design and launch of a global verification system, built to safely govern high-risk, heavily-regulated verticals, including gambling, drugs, crypto, addiction treatment centers, and CBD.

The reality of this space means navigating a high-stakes landscape of shifting regional laws, sophisticated bad actors, and deep systemic friction. Rather than treating these massive industries as a monolith, we built a unified framework designed to handle intense regional complexities and gate unauthorized access. It’s heavy, low-glamour work where the goal isn't just to move fast, but to build systems that keep people safe.

Redesigning Meta's tile for global scalability

2024 - 2026

At Meta, I stepped into a classic design system challenge: over time, a massive gap had formed between our core components and the bespoke, hacked-together tiles teams were building to survive. This architecture didn’t scale. It isolated product teams, broke system-wide updates, and failed under conditions like dynamic language translations or enlarged text layouts for people who have low vision.

I led a redesign that replaced the rigid container with a modular, block-based framework. By treating elements like data visualizations, media, and actions as independent modules, teams could build highly complex layouts while keeping the system stable. The architecture inherently accounts for variable factors like long translated text and scaled font sizes, ensuring that global scalability is built into the bones of the component.
